Color possibilities for Baby Budgies?
Hey, I have 2 budgies. One is lutino and the other is green. If they were to have chicks, what are the color possibilities of the chicks? I know it is not really possible to tell, but what is the general color that you get when you have a lutino and a green Budgie? Can someone with these colors please tell me what color the babies were? Thnx for the support!

Here is a matings expectations table to anticipate what you will get.
Which is which is important as lutino is a sex linked gene….so is the male or female the lutino ?
Also will depend on if either bird is split for anything else, like split for blue, opaline, cinnamon etc.
Lutino can mask a whole variety of mutations, as in…. it could be masking a dominant gene like dominant pied or spangle under its pure yellow lutino appearance. Anything at all really.
You wont know until you breed them.
